I set up a new toshiba smart tv for my mother and set up all

Hello I set up a new toshiba smart tv for my mother and set up all the internet channels like amazon prime and Netflix etc. all was working fine and she was also able to scroll through and select all the normal free channels like bbc and ITV. Now after a week all the internet channels are working fine but I can’t seem to access the ‘normal’ channels. The tv says to check the Aerial which I have and it seems fine? I assume that my mother may have pushed something wrong on the remote? Any suggestions?
