Hi I have a 55 inch Samsung but I can't use headphones …????
JA: What Samsung product do you have?
Customer: it's a UE55RU7400U tv
JA: What's the brand and model number of your TV? How old is it?
Customer: like I said Samsung 55 inch brand new
JA: Does the TV menu work? Do you have the same problem on all sources/inputs?
Customer: in settings -sound-sound output you have 3 tv speaker, optical and Bluetooth speaker list
JA: How long has this been an issue with your Samsung? What happened right before this?
Customer: It won't pair with headphones

those are bluetooth headphones, which are not directly compatible with the tv.

The way around this is to use the Digital Audio Out port on the back of the tv. This is a square shaped port with a little flap/door over it and a red light inside. You'll also need to purchase a digital Bluetooth transmitter to use with that optical port, like this: which will then pair with your Bluetooth headphones.
