I’ve just had a sky Q box fitted over the weekend and my tv

I’ve just had a sky Q box fitted over the weekend and my tv has just started saying this screen does not support HDCP try connecting your HDMI cable or use a different screen!
JA: What's the brand and model number of your TV? How old is it?
Customer: but it’s been working fine
JA: Does the TV menu work? Do you have the same problem on all sources/inputs?
Customer: Yeah tv menu works and I’ve tried to close all possible issues
JA: How long has this been an issue? What happened right before this?
Customer: Nothing the tv came on great but turned it on before and this came up
JA: Anything else you want the TV Expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: No just this problem thanks

Could you please begin by rebooting BOTH the TV and any satellite or cable box you may be using by disconnecting BOTH from wall-power wait 5 mins then re-plug BOTH back in again, give 5 more mins for the box to boot fully let me know if there is any change please

Have you replaced the HDMI cable with a new one?it has to be a decent one the latest version

If that does not work you will need to factory default the set in the TV settings menu

HDCP is a copyright protocol

Yeah new cable out the wrapper today

Then the only option left open is to reset the TV to factory default in the settings menu,if you do not know how to do that I will need the model number of the set found on the back of the set please
