my Samsung tv says weak no signal. All seems ok with the ariel.
JA: What Samsung model do you have? How old is it?
Customer: UE40F6740SB
JA: Does the TV menu work? Do you have the same problem on all sources/inputs?
Customer: IT's probably 6 years old...
JA: How long has this been an issue with your Samsung? What happened right before this?
Customer: I can use Apple TV on the tv no problem, the message came up last night for the first time and it's still the same this mornning
JA: Anything else you want the TV Expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: I've checked that the aerial is working fine for the tv in the other room

Can you please remove the power to the TV (so unplug it from the power socket).

Then wait 10 minutes, connect the power again to the TV, turn it on and tell me please if it is now operating correctly.

Do you mean the source button? FYI I can get the apps up from the WiFi signal e.g. Amazon Prime

Do you mean hold the button down? It just moves from TV, to HDMI, to Ext, then Screen Mirroring but nothing works on any of them

It looks like the antenna is the issue, do you have another TV there?

Please do the following on the TV

Navigate to Settings and then General. Select Reset. Enter your PIN (0000 is the default) and then select Reset. To complete the reset, select OK. Your TV will restart automatically. If these steps don't match your TV, navigate to Settings > Support > Self Diagnosis, and Reset will be located in that menu.
