Just bought JVC smart tv model LT 39C790, how do I lighten the picture?
JA: What JVC model do you have? How old is it?
Customer: model LT 39C790 2 weeks ago
JA: Does the TV menu work? Do you have the same problem on all sources/inputs?
Customer: Im connected with sky and all programmes are good except the picture is to dark
JA: How long has this been an issue with your JVC? What happened right before this?
Customer: nothing it’s been like this from the day I had it fitted
JA: Anything else you want the TV Expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: no that’s it I just want to know how to brighten the picture I’m watching golf at the moment, it’s like watching after the sun has diappeared

Go into the Settings menu from the home page, using the jvc tv remote,

then from settings you should see Picture, and from there will be options for Brightness, Contrast, etc.

Hi Nathan, thanks for coming back to me , please be patient I’m 85 years old and a bit slow when I’m playing with IT.
The tv is JVC39”LED SMART FHD evert thing works well except for control of the contrast? Watching sport it looks as if the sun went down 2 hrs before.
I’m connected to SKY Q and my controller does not have a setting button.

Hello Marshall,

On the JVC remote (not the sky remote) you should have the settings button.
