We had a power cut yesterday and my panasonic TV is now working but will not pick up channels 1 to 17 or BBC Radio.
JA: What Panasonic model do you have? How old is it?
Customer: ESN ; pctv000172++fd67bb596e11eefa114A
JA: Does the TV menu work? Do you have the same problem on all sources/inputs?
Customer: TV menu works. Input only from broadband
JA: How long has this been an issue with your Panasonic? What happened right before this?
Customer: It worked perfectly until the power cut which lasted several minutes. It took some hours to even get the remote menu to work, but it does now but will not select channels 1 to 17. Incidentally, we are on the Isles of Scilly, so it may be a transmitter problem, but friends nearby now have it all working again.
JA: Anything else you want the TV Expert to know before I connect you?

Unplug the power cord to your cable box

Wait 10 minutes

Plug it back in and power on

Wait 5 minutes
