Customer Question

I had a Urodynamics Study carried out on 11 September, and was told that I need to self catheterise myself and that a District Nurse would contact me to arrange a visit at home to discuss which catheter is best for me to use and what to do. When am I likely to hear from a District Nurse as I am concerned that I may have another bladder infection before I begin to self catheterise.

There is no way for us to say.
This is a question answer service.
However, I can tell you that you should have heard by now, given the situation.
Have you talked to the doctor who told you this?

I will be at my GP surgery next week with regard to another matter, so I will raise this question with him unless I hear from a District Nurse in the meantime.

I would be more proactive and call either one or both.;
Why wait and get another infection, that might or might not happen.
Call the nurse, then call the doctor.
OK, so that is an initial answer….
