How much does it cost to remove some large kidney stones privately.

Customer Question

How much does it cost to remove some large kidney stones privately. My 81 year old mother has been neglected by the NHS for 16 months and has now been condemned to an early death through continuous UTI's/Sepsis and starvation caused by her lack of appetite due to the constant UTI's.

Hi and thanks for the query.

The general cost of removal of kidney stones privately in the UK, is from £2000 to £3000, depending on which procedure is adopted and what the surgeon agrees on. The percutaneous nephrolithotomy procedure is more expensive around £ 5500.

Since, it is private treatment, you can negotiate and discuss the total cost of the procedure with your Surgeon, but this is the range. Hope this helps. Please do leave a positive rating for the service. Best wishes.
