You think lichen sclerosus is related to all this
Expert:  Dr.Shakeel Ansari replied 7 days ago.

Diagnosis is confirmed by biopsy. So you have to do a biopsy in order to confirm the diagnosis.  If you've already been diagnosed with lichen sclerosis, see your doctor every six to 12 months to be checked for any skin changes or treatment side effects.

Customer: replied 7 days ago.
You think blood and urination imight be linked lichen sclerosus
Expert:  Dr.Shakeel Ansari replied 7 days ago.

No, it does not.

Customer: replied 7 days ago.
Thanks. I hope the urine test is normal as you initially suggested
Expert:  Dr.Shakeel Ansari replied 7 days ago.

Yes, that is normal.

Customer: replied 20 hours ago.
Unfortunately surgery website is down at the moment. I'll try it again later. Basically every thing was normal except rbc on borderline. Another midstream sample was requested
Expert:  Dr.Shakeel Ansari replied 20 hours ago.

What is measuring 19?

Customer: replied 20 hours ago.
Red blood
Customer: replied 20 hours ago.
19 mIU/mL
Expert:  Dr.Shakeel Ansari replied 20 hours ago.

Urinary blood that's visible only under a microscope (microscopic hematuria). In hematuria, your kidneys — or other parts of your urinary tract — allow blood cells to leak into urine.

Various problems can cause this leakage, including Urinary tract infection, urinary tract stone ( with severe colicky pain), and Strenuous exercises.

These are the common ones, you can go to your GP who can do an initial assessment, and do a workup including urine culture and ultrasound of the urinary tract including a Kidney.

Customer: replied 20 hours ago.
There was no infection

Expert:  Dr.Shakeel Ansari replied 14 hours ago.

You have to do Ultrasound KUB

Customer: replied 14 hours ago.
I can't stop thinking of something cancerous or life threatening even though blood is borderline
Expert:  Dr.Shakeel Ansari replied 14 hours ago.

Go for a proper workup with your GP, it is too early to think about this urine strip test only.

Customer: replied 14 hours ago.
