Hello and Welcome to justanswer..

My name is MIKE - Im happy to help you with this..

The usual fault with these is that the alarm keeps sounding off at any time ( usually night time... )... and the fault s down to one to one of two things depending on exact type.

If its the siren type, then its the siren itself, the unit that is usually faulty - they have NiCad batteries inside that fail and cause the alarm to sound off... For this type, replacement of the siren unit is the usual answer - for now you can simply disconnect the wire plug to it... The siren will sound off until the internal Nicads go dead.. but it wont go off after that.

If you have the "horn" type one, you can simply disconnect the wire to that. This is the horn in the engine bay - this is just for the alarm - not the same horn as your road use horn so you can disconnect that ok.

The usual cause of the issue here is failure or such of one of the door, bonnet / rear door switches as fitted - Its a case of tracing the fault down and dealing with the faulty switch / wiring then as found... but meantime as you ask, you can disable it either way as above.

Let me know if you need anything more on this at all -

Best Rgds, MIKE.

Please note, you are rating the content of my "answer" - my help to you - not the "system" which can experience delays etc which are not under my personal control -or delays caused by "time -off" which we all have on occasion - Thank you.
