I have 2003 astra with z16zep engine which is not running properly

I have 2003 astra with z16zep engine which is not running properly on investagation ,thé pipe going from inlet manifold to rocker cover is causing à massive vaccum and drawing oil from thé rocker cover into the inlet manifold

Hi .My name is Greg and i will assist you with this problem.

Two posibilitys that cause this on this engine of yours .

1. The PCV is blocked open and letting oil bypass the valve into the inlet manifold
all that has to be done with this is replace the PCV valve .

2. The valve covert baffles are caked up with oil sludge and the oil is getting into the inlet manifold .

3. Low cylinder compression causing high engine bypass into engine and causing oil to be pushed out into the inlet manifold .

First check the PCV, if not sure replace as this is a very cheap part to buy.

Do a compression test to see if the engine compression is the fault ,(with engine running and you remove the oil cap and feel a lot of pressure coming out, then this is your problem .
