Hello! My name is Gary.
Welcome to JustAnswer.
I'm reviewing your question now, and will post back with a reply shortly.

The most common issue I have found is broken wires in the LH boot hinge.

With the roof closed, a Tech2 actuator test can be performed to ooen the boot.

Then inspect the wiring as above.

There are a few other faults as well.

I've checked wiring and can't find any broken wires

And there is no broken wires in the LH Boot hinge harness, where all the bends in the harness occur?

Have you opened up the harness?

Is the rear luggage blind fitted correctly?

Hello Terry,

Perhaps somebody in the UK can help you.

We have the same car over here, I've fixed many.

Maybe try these guys:

Hi Terry,

Your boot switch is likely to the fault in this case.
