We have a parakeet who at first seemed to have hurt his leg,

Customer Question

We have a parakeet who at first seemed to have hurt his leg, he was holding it up; but could still grip with his foot. The vet gave him antibiotics but he seems worse, not now holding his foot up but unsteady altogether on his feet. Not flying around if given the chance; still eating and drinking okay.

Thank you for your question, I'm Dr. Dan and I'll try to help you.

Can he seem to grip anything or move the toes at all on the effected leg?
