I have just bought a 10 yr old cob and she has a thing about two inches long and thin like a worm growing out of one of her ears. It is skin coloured. Any ideas?

Good Morning and welcome! I am Dr. Loretta, a licensed veterinarian and I am happy to answer your question.

Most likely this is a benign skin tumor that is harmless to Phoebe. WE generally do nto remove these unless they start to iinterfere with function or become ulcerated. I would certainly have your vet examine this but in most cases, it is benign and not anything to worry about.

Does that make sense to you?

Please let me know if you have ANY other questions. My goal is to give you 100% satisfaction and if you are not yet satisfied, please REPLY so I can clarify for you.

Sincerely, XXXXX XXXXX
