Can you tell me how much Daisy weighs?

Customer: replied 3 years ago.

Daisy weighs 10.4kgs.

Thank you Rosemary,

This is a high dose, but it is within the normal dose range for a dog her size.
Often we will treat them at a dose range of 10-25 mg/kg twice daily. For a dog Daisy's size that would be a range between 104mg -260mg twice daily. So, this dose is not inappropriately high in this case. Still, if you find that Daisy has had some adverse side effects (perhaps eating less, vomiting, or experiencing diarrhea) then you could consider trying her at half the dose. If this doesn't settle her anal gland situation, then you could ask your vet to try an alternative medication to see if that works better for her glands without making her feeling poorly.

I hope this information is helpful.

All the best,
