1- How is Frankie doing now?
2- Any pre existing medical conditions?
3- Any coughing, vomiting or diarrhea?
4- Can you take a look at her gums and see if they are pink or pale?

There may be a slight delay between your follow ups and my replies as I type out a thorough reply for you.

Murray, what you are describing is consistent with a seizure or fainting (syncope). When a dog seizes there could be an underlying medical problem causing the seizure. Possible causes for seizures in dogs are an under active thyroid (hypothyroidism), kidney or liver disease, hypoglycemia, brain tumors, idiopathic (unknown), etc. to name a few causes. Another possible cause is fainting secondary to an abnormal heart beat (cardiac arrhythmia) especially because Frankie has a history of a heart murmur.
In this case, I would strongly recommend having Frankie checked today by nearest ER veterinarian. It is important to rule out heart disease (fainting) as this could be fatal if it is not treated. Frankie will need to have some testing done like blood work, EKG and Echocardiogram as initial screening test. Treatment will be based on exam and test results.

My goal is to provide you with excellent service – if you feel you have gotten anything less, please reply back. I am happy to address follow-up questions. Thank you for your business and I hope to work with you again soon!
