hi, i have had my little terrier for a year and have had a lot off trouble finding food she likes even tryed the raw diet but no, woul'nt touch it then she was quite ill with diarea so i staved her for 12 hour's and put her on white fish and rice which she really liked a week later she's still eating white fish is this a good enough diet for her im worried she might be missing some vitamins for bone's ect
Hello, my name is***** and I have over 20 years of experience as a veterinarian. I'd like to help with your concerns about Rosie and her history of picky eating and diarrhea. While she may enjoy what she is eating you are right to be concerned because this isn't a long term balanced diet.

It is possible that her picky eating behavior and diarrhea are related to food sensitivities and/or a food allergy. If she is enjoying and tolerating whitefish there are sensitive stomach veterinary diets with whitefish as a base that you might want to try. Here is a link to a food made by Iams Veterinary Diets:

Here is a link to some dogs foods that are less restrictive, so may not be quite as helpful, but are fish based:

Your other option is to work with a veterinary nutritionist to design a well balanced homemade diet recipe. Here is a link to find a veterinary nutritionist in the UK.

Best of luck with your pup, please let me know if you have any further questions.
I am sorry to see that you are unhappy with my response.
