Hi!My hamster dont eat anything for a couple of days. There is no stool.He sleep all the time.Body temperature looks very low.Why?What happend?I feed him think properly with food from pet shop.What to do?How I can help him?

I'm sorry that your question wasn't answered in a timely manner. Unfortunately, unless Max demonstrated symptoms other than anorexia and lethargy, it will be impossible to tell you what's going on with him and how he might be helped. Cardiomyopathy (heart muscle disease) should be suspected in aged pet hamsters (older than 1.5 years) that present clinically with signs of tachypnea (increased respiratory rate), lethargy, anorexia, and cold extremities but this needs to be diagnosed with X-rays and ultrasound examination of the heart - something rarely done on pet hamsters.

I'm sorry that I can't be more specific for you. Max would need to be seen by a rodent-oriented vet but whatever is found should be considered life-threatening in a hamster behaving as he is. Please respond with further questions or concerns if you wish.
