My 9 week old pup keeps coughing and clearing her throat otherwise she is full of beans, eating well etc what should I do she has had it since we got her at 8 weeks

I'm sorry that your question wasn't answered in a timely manner. If your pup were obtained from a shelter or wherever large numbers of dogs were present, an infectious respiratory infection such as infectious tracheobronchitis ("kennel cough") should be considered. This can be addressed with one of the antibiotics of choice - doxycycline or amoxicillin/clavulanate. Most dogs will remiss unaided within 1-3 weeks but I'd be more comfortable knowing that such a young pup were attended to by her vet and treated with an antibiotic.Less common considerations include dysphagias (swallowing defects) such as cricopharyngeal achalasia and megaesophagus which can result in regurgitation, oropharyngeal irritation and coughing.
