Are you there?

The excellent photo reveals separation of the nail sheath from the quick and subsequent paronychia (nail bed infection). Under "twilight sleep" (light anesthesia), the nail shealth is peeled off, the quick shortened, and a systemic antibiotic prescribed for 5-7 days. A light wrap is applied for the initial few day from surgery.
