Hi my dog has a sore patch on her paw?
JA: Hi there. I'll do all I can to help. When did you first notice the sore? Has the dog been licking or rubbing the skin?
Customer: It’s on her front paw she’s limping because it’s sore to walk on she has two walks a day it very pink
JA: What's the dog's name and age?
Customer: It’s a french bull dog cross pug she’s 11
JA: Is there anything else the Vet should know?

Thank you for the excellent photo. Regrettably, this sore patch appears to be a well-circumscribed (definite margins to the lesion) skin tumor more common in elderly dogs. Her vet will want to needle aspirate this and examine the aspirate microscopically in an attempt to clarify its primary cell type. That, then, will tell the vet how best to address it. Surgical excision is likely to be recommended. Please respond with additional questions and concerns if you wish.
