Hi there, you are through to Dr. Linda.
I'm sorry to hear this.
Was the rice uncooked? How much did he have?
How many times roughly has he vomited?
Customer: replied 16 days ago.
The rice was cooked the day before. Yesterday in 5 hours he vomited I think 8 or 9 times
Customer: replied 16 days ago.
He vomited at first the food even the rice. It was brown. Then white and foamy

Ok, sure. Cooked rice (unless he ate it in very large quantities) shouldn't usually be a problem.Any chance he has eaten something else such as a sock, bit of plastic or something from outside like a plant or anti freeze?
Customer: replied 16 days ago.
He ate just a bit of rice. And I cannot say what did he eat in the garden. I was just cooking. Also he is very playful. But now is quiet
Expert:  Linda Simmon replied 16 days ago.
Ok, sure. I would be surprised if the rice was the issue.
Are his gums pink and wet?
Is he eating his dog food today?
Customer: replied 16 days ago.
He is not eating since he started vomiting. His gums are a bit pale but still pink.
Expert:  Linda Simmon replied 16 days ago.
Thank you.
Are his gums wet to the touch (like ours)?
Customer: replied 16 days ago.
I just touch his gums and they are wet

Ok good, so he is unlikely to be dehydrated.A bout of vomiting usually only lasts 24 hours and dogs improve quickly. We can offer boiled chicken this evening and see if he holds it down. We should also offer plenty of water and allow him to rest. Watch out for any worrying signs such as a bloated abdomen, refusal to eat or drink panting or continued vomiting. If he fails to improve or gets worse, a vet visit would be sensible.
