When it comes to treating fleas, we would ideally get a good quality spot on such as Advocate or Advantage.
They contain Imadocloprid which is an effective product for eliminating fleas.
No prescription is needed for Advantage and it can be purchased from online pharmacies, pet shops etc.
As fleas carry tapeworm, we must also ensure Rio's wormer is up to date.Only 5% of the flea burden will be living on the cat. We need to also treat any other cats/dogs/rabbits as well as the home.We should use a flea spray with IGR such as Indorex, hoover daily and hot wash bedding and rugs over 60°c.Avoid baths as these make the spot on less effective.
