Hello & welcome, I am Dr. B, a licensed veterinarian and I would like to help you today.

Do you mean bit an earthworm?

Or does he have roundworms?

Customer: replied 9 days ago.
He bit one oh gave just spoken to a vet and because he had worming tablets last week he should be covered ?

Hi again,

If it was an earthworm, its no real risk If it was a roundworm (dog parasite), then yes his wormer should cover him. The main worry with eating creepy crawlies in the garden in our country is the snails/slugs (as they can carry lung worm). So, keep him up to date on his worming meds and make sure they cover for lungworm but we'd not be worried here for Bruce.

All the best,
