I have a 6 year old Yorkshire/ Norfolk cross in good health

I have a 6 year old Yorkshire/ Norfolk cross in good health but. ... I took him for a walk this morning and he was eating grass. Something he has done for years when he gets the chance. WE returned home and he was trying to be sick but nothing happened. He has a developed a rasping cough as if he is trying to clear his throat. I have offered him some water but he is not interested. Half an hour ago (19.10 bst) he settled behind a curtain and when I tried to move him, he was groggy, unsteady on his legs. He is happiest when he climbs into my bed and burrows under the blanket. His breathing, except for the cough, seems regular. He is definitely quite poorly. What should I do? Paul Broadbent, London SW5 9HL
