She is breathing quite heavily like she is cold

Thank you so much. Are her gums pink? Is her tummy enlarged?

Customer: replied 17 days ago.
Her gum is pink no enlarged tummy

Thank you so much. Does she have any other medical problems? Is she taking any medications?

Customer: replied 17 days ago.
No nothing at all, all I can say that she likes to feel warm, maybe she got cold?

Thank you for that information. Please give me a few minutes to type my recommendations.

Okay, I am back. I suspect that we are dealing with acute gastritis. I think that we can manage this at home. But, if the signs do not resolve, an examination would be in order.

Let’s give Pepcid AC at 1 X 10mg tablet per 20 pounds twice daily. This is Famotidine and it decreases the acid in the stomach.

Just put on the finger's tip and place it on the back of the tongue, then hold the mouth closed till swallows.

You can offer Pedialyte, or water to drink starting 2 hours after the first dose. Flavored and Unflavored Pedialyte are both fine.

I would not offer any food until later tonight.

Then, please feed cooked hamburger and rice. Use lean ground beef and strain off the fat before mixing it with the cooked rice. I would feed 3X daily.

Watch for vomiting or continued vomiting, not eating, blood in vomit.

Normally I like clients to continue with this treatment regimen for two days.

Customer: replied 17 days ago.
Pepcid AC is available at the vetshop?
Customer: replied 17 days ago.
do you think this the reason of her heavy breathing too?

It is possible. If her stomach is that upset.

Customer: replied 17 days ago.
My hb is saying that he washed up the floor with water and a little bit of dettol it might be this the reason that she liked it?

That could cause her upset stomach for sure.

Customer: replied 17 days ago.
I am going to the pharmacy now to buy pepcid ac 10 mg and pedyalite
Customer: replied 17 days ago.
Can o buy it from a human pharmacy?

That is correct. :)

Customer: replied 17 days ago.
The pharmacy couldn't find the medication, can I give her gaviscon?

How about Nexium? The dose is 1 mg/kg daily. :)
