Hey my staffie has just eaten a small onion ring is there anything I should do?
JA: I'll do all I can to help. What size is the Staffie? How much was eaten?
Customer: small/medium and a small onion ring
JA: When was this? Has the Staffie thrown up since then?
Customer: about 1 hour ago, and no
JA: And what's the Staffie's name and age?
Customer: pepper and 11

Onions can be toxic for dogs. However, if this was only one onion ring, I think he will be fine and this should not cause any problems for a dog of pepper's size.

There is no need to do anything. I don't think she needs an emergency check up.

Monitor her for signs of being unwell such as vomiting. I would carry on her normal diet and routine as normal.
