Hi, I have two Panasonic hdc-sd80 camcorders. About a year

Customer Question

Hi, I have two Panasonic hdc-sd80 camcorders. About a year ago the first one just refused to switch on, completely dead. Yesterday, the second one has done exactly the same, even when plugged into the mains with the Panasonic lead. Is this a common problem with this model and/or is there an easy fix, as sending it away to a certified repair centre would cost more than the cameras are actually worth?

I am himadri ..

1. Remove the battery from the camera.
2. Clean your battery contacts with a clean cloth.
3. Reinstall the battery and power on the camera and let me know the result....

Hello Himadri

Have completed that task and there is no difference.

Unfortunately what you have described indicates that your problem seems to be with the main circuit board it is not getting the power supply properly that's why you are facing this type of problem.

On the other hand, your camera is not under warranty, so please don't send your camera to service center because the repairing cost is too high almost a new camera price. So if you buy a new camera then it is a good idea for you....I apologize for this inconvenience.
