my slr camera battery connectors look green and new batteries dont seem to work
JA: Who makes your camera?
Customer: fujifilm
JA: What have you tried so far with your Fujifilm?
Customer: putting in batteries (there were none in it for a couple of years and it was stored in its case)
JA: Anything else you want the Camera Expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: the metal connection panel is crusty and has a greenish tinge instead of shiny silver metal

Hi,

Try carefully scrapping the green off with a small screwdriver or craft knife until the bare metal can be seen. This should then make a good contact when you put the batteries in.
