How do I remove rear right plastic wheel arch from VW Tiguan 2009?

Dear customer, thank you for choosing Justanswer. My name is***** would like to help you.

Do you mean the trim around the wheel arch or the interior trim of the arch?

Customer: replied 2 day ago.
Please see jpg attached. I am asking about the rear thought (not front).

Okay, thank you very much.

I'll write my answer now and provide two pictures, it will take a few minutes. You will get the answer in this chat.

First, the inner wheel arch liner must be removed.

To do this, the vehicle must be jacked up and the wheel removed.

Now unscrew the screws (on the picture of the inner fairing the number 5).

Continue with the picture on which you can see the outer arch trim.

-Press the snap-in hooks -5- together -Arrows a- and out of the bumper -4-.
- Heat the wheel cover -1- in the area of the adhesive tape -6- before dismantling with the hot air gun -V.A.G 1416-.
- Push the clips -2- out of the grommets -3- -arrows b-.
- Remove the wheel cover -1- from the vehicle.

Here are the link to the pics.

I would be very happy about a rating with 5 stars over the star bar at the top of the page, without this rating the site operator does not pay us experts.

Nice one. Thank you. Do you think it would be possible to remove it without first taking the interior trim?

No
