2008 volvo 2.0 dieselWent to start the car and the battery

Customer Question

2008 volvo 2.0 diesel Went to start the car and the battery was dead. You can here a clicking noise and the lights flicker on the dash and error message - Immboiliser - try restart comes up. Have fitted a new battery and car still doesn't start. Have even let it sit for 5 hours for car to reboot herself and also tried locking/unlocking car numerous times and still nothing. Lights, horn etc all work and radio.


 


Also check the box under passenger side in footwell for any loose connections, no joy here either.


Have put the car onto the computer and nothing is coming up either.
