Hopefully i can help..

The ABS service required generally means the ABS is faulty or has lost signal from one of the wheel speed sensors/target rings..hence the warning up on the screen..sometimes this can be due to the target/reluctors rings being corroded and as such the abs sensor can't pick up on the ring and the abs ecu flags up the fault, stores the relevent fault code in which can also be one other idea to carry out.have the car plugged in and see what fault codes you have in relation to the ABS..normally a carefull check of each reluctor ring on both driveshaft on the from outer cv end and its condition prob a clean up if the rings havent split or broken aswell as inspection of each abs sensor for debris, also and inspection of the rear bearingsas per reluctors being part of the bearing per cost..its hard to say at this stage.if it just a general clean up of the front targets rings then it should be fairly inexpensive job..if one has split or broken then it will require a new cv joint

as ring is inc...but as above best way forward if possible is see what faults you have and inspect as suggested above..I do hope this helps..if you need to ask anything else or include anything further then just continue before you rate
